Costa Rican Pura Vida: Building New Partnerships in an Exotic Paradise
Drillbone’s journey brought us to Costa Rica – the land of Pura Vida (Pure Life)! These two words capture not only the Costa Rican spirit but also Drillbone’s philosophy: simple, patient-friendly and environmentally conscious techniques, all openly shared with anyone.
We would like to express many thanks not only to Dr. Adrián Zuñiga Blanco for organizing our transosseous workshop, but also to the team at Aura Surgical Centre, San José for their incredible hospitality and lastly to the Aselcom company for carrying out the live stream from the operating room.
We met Adrian and his colleagues in person in April 2023 at the BISC (Berlin International Shoulder Course) in Germany. We are delighted to now welcome Adrian on board as the new Drillbone Ambassador for Costa Rica and look forward to our cooperation!
