RCR using Drillbone Tunneler for the first time in Poland!
We are happy to share with you today that we have managed to take another important step in Drillbone's journey to the world. At the clinic in the picturesque town of Głuchołazy, we performed the first two transosseous rotator cuff repair surgeries using the Drillbone Tunneler in Poland.
The surgery was performed in cooperation with our valued Polish colleagues Robert Pełka, M.D., Rafał Namyślak M.D. and instrumentalists Monika and Anita. The atmosphere in the operating room was very pleasant and both operations went without complications. Together we refreshed ourselves with delicious poppy seed buns and pizza and agreed to develop future cooperation. As we have many interested in our instruments among Polish surgeons, we are going to establish our first subsidiary company later this year on Polish territory, so that we can cooperate with our Polish colleagues as efficiently as possible.
We are thrilled that Drillbone is slowly making its way beyond the borders of the Czech Republic (and Slovakia), where hundreds of surgeries have already been performed with Tunneler with excellent post-operative results. We are currently at an advanced stage of negotiations for cooperation with orthopaedic surgeons from Chile, Mexico, Spain and the UK, so we believe that Głuchołazy was only the first important stop on our great mission, which will soon continue.
